Art of Recognition & Having Difficult Conversations

Business owners, managers and supervisors often find themselves needing to have difficult conversations in the workplace. These conversations have a wide range of topics and may include work performance, attendance, communication, hygiene and other personal issues, lay-offs and terminations. Recognizing employees is crucial in the current work culture. Recognition can be done in a variety of ways and the way that businesses recognize their employees is entirely up to them. Recognition does not have to be huge, or even costly, to have amazing impact. Laura London, owner of London Human Resource & Conflict Consulting LLC, will be presenting on these topics.
Space is limited to the first 18 registrations. The Power Hour will be held at 208 S Main St (the Workshop). The Power Hour is currently held on 2nd floor that is not wheelchair accessible. If requested five business days prior, meeting location can be moved to ground floor. Refunds are only granted to those cancelling 48 hours prior to the Power Hour.
