Katie Washnok joined the Aberdeen Development Corporation as the Director of Governmental Affairs and Public Policy in 2023. Katie is responsible for establishing a strong presence within political and governmental levels to advocate for a friendly business climate and quality growth of Aberdeen and Northeast South Dakota. Washnok is a native of Whitewood, South Dakota, and a graduate of the University of South Dakota.
