How it Works

In collaboration with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, the ADC is actively assisting individuals interested in relocating to the Aberdeen area. With the state's unemployment rate hovering at 1.7%, this initiative is a prime opportunity to attract additional talent to fill open positions.

As resumes are received from those who are interested in making the Hub City their home, they added to our password protected website that is shared with local businesses. In addition to offering a great quality of life, our community has stepped up with a welcome package to help make the move and transition as easy as possible. This includes the City of Aberdeen, the Aberdeen Family YMCA, Climate Control, Northern State University, The Aberdeen Insider, Brown County Speedway, Brown County Fair, and Allevity/Thunder Road. A big thank you to our community for helping support this workforce effort!
